The number of Bitcoin addresses holding 1 BTC or more has reached a new all-time high, indicating an increase in accumulation at the retail level, as per blockchain analytics platform Glassnode.
Long-term investors have been accumulating BTC as on-chain data has shown a percentage of Bitcoin that hasn’t been moved for at least one year just reached an all-time high of 67.037%, and the percentage of BTC not moved for at least five years just hit a new all-time high of 28.269%.
Additionally, the supply of last active BTC at least ten years ago has also hit a new all-time high of 2.64 million BTC, worth approximately $61.5 billion. A net outflow of $57.6 million was recorded over the past 24 hours, indicating a bullish trend as investors who move their holdings off of crypto exchanges usually do it for long-term safekeeping.
