In the past 48 hours, Bitcoin (BTC) whales have moved a total of 21,851 BTC (equivalent to $545 million) to exchanges. This move by the deep-pocketed addresses follows the recent market-wide rally that has allowed BTC to regain the $26,000 price level.
Whale Alert, which tracks whale activity, has reported seven transactions involving the massive inflow of Bitcoin into exchanges. The most recent transaction, at 2:39 AM (UTC) today, saw an unknown address transfer 1,000 BTC (valued at $24.8 million) to Gate.io.
Yesterday at 10:18 PM (UTC), there was another massive whale transfer involving the movement of 1,500 BTC (equivalent to $37 million) to Binance.
