Cryptoys, a digital toy company operated by Web3 collective OnChain Studios, is breaking new ground in the world of NFTs with the introduction of a kid-friendly AI chatbot called ChatGuardian. This innovative chatbot allows children to interact safely with their NFTs, providing parents with a control panel to customize conversations and ensure a secure and engaging experience for their kids during playtime.
By integrating ChatGuardian into its NFTs, Cryptoys aims to enhance the user experience and address concerns surrounding AI integration. The company assures consumers that there is no risk of a rogue AI scenario and emphasizes the importance of seamless, entertaining, and safe interactions between children and their digital toys.
Will Weinraub, CEO and co-founder of OnChain Studio and Cryptoys, explains that the initiative seeks to leverage AI in a child-friendly manner. Rather than impersonal AI companions, children born in the age of blockchain and AI should have the opportunity to interact with their favorite characters.
The implementation of ChatGuardian will first be introduced in Cryptoys’ Zoo-F-O collection, which features charming animal-themed digital collectibles. The initial rollout will be available to existing Cryptoys collectors, with subsequent releases strengthening the kid-safe verification process.
Cryptoys has already established notable partnerships, including collaborations with Mattel for digital action figures inspired by the Masters of the Universe film and with Disney for a Star Wars-themed NFT series. With its impressive track record and renowned partners, the introduction of the AI Chatbot may propel Cryptoys further into the mainstream.
