The announcement of these NFTs was originally made by the Elvis Presley Legacy Council, an entity dedicated to ushering the music luminary into diverse online and blockchain-driven platforms.
Each avatar will embody the quintessential style of the King of Rock & Roll, featuring recognizable attire, hairstyles, and distinctive emotes inspired by his iconic dance repertoire.
Beyond owning a slice of digital Elvis memorabilia, avatar holders will also gain governance and voting privileges within the Elvis Legacy Council DAO. These NFT avatars will further unlock enhanced functionalities and in-game utilities within the forthcoming Sandbox multiplayer experiences.
Sale Event Set for August 9
The NFTs will be minted on the Polygon Ethereum scaling network. An exclusive 24-hour purchase window is scheduled to commence on August 9, accessible to those on the whitelist and proprietors of specific The Sandbox NFT-based land and avatar collections.
By August 11, the entire array of Elvis avatars will be unveiled, categorized into four rarity tiers, each attainable for 100 SAND tokens, approximately $41 considering current valuations.
