Gadget-Bot makes a Web3 debut with Kaidro Sci-fi Game on Immutable Blockchain.
Gadget-Bot, the creators of popular video games such as Call of Duty and Apex Legends, are set to release their new NFT-based Kaidro science fiction game on the Ethereum scaling blockchain, Immutable. The PC version of the game will be available this year, while the mobile version is expected to launch later.
After working on the science fiction universe of Kaidro for over a decade, Gadget-Bot is making its first entry into the Web3 industry with this new game. Every NFT in the game represents ownership of a character from a specific clan, and each NFT provides a unique storyline and substances that players can unlock. Players will also be able to sell skins of their NFTs to others.
In a recent interview, Gadget-Bot’s Chung and Simons shared their decision to embrace NFTs in their games and explore the Web3 industry. They chose Immutable to host Kaidro as it enables gaming through Web2 and provides integrations for Web3. However, the developers have yet to determine whether the game will be hosted on Immutable X or Immutable zkEVM.
