Hip hop artist Snoop Dogg has teamed up with VeeFriends, an NFT community, to create a unique NFT experience for collectors. VeeFriends announced the collaboration in February 2022 when it revealed that Snoop Dogg would be joining VeeCon 2022. The fruits of this partnership are expected to be seen in the coming days, with Snoop Dogg releasing a new single on April 28. Fans can pre-save the new song, and the first to experience it when it drops.
Moreover, VeeCon will be creating a multiphase experience on Bum Island to benefit NFT collectors, consisting of three phases. The first phase, “Eruption 6: Burn to Mint,” will run from April 28 to May 8, with only VeeCon 2022 NFT ticket holders having access. During this phase, NFT holders will be required to burn their NFTs to gain a “Please Take a Step Back” NFT.
The second phase, “Burn to Compete & Ape In,” will begin with Snoop Dogg launching a new music video for the song “Please Take a Step Back.” The phase will consist of two competitions, and NFT holders will be required to burn their digital collectibles from the “Please Take a Step Back” collection.
Finally, the last phase involves burning NFT tokens from the “Please Take a Step Back” collection to attend a reunion concert in Atlanta on August 9, where Wiz Khalifa and Snoop Dogg will perform. With this partnership, Snoop Dogg and VeeFriends are set to deliver a unique NFT experience to collectors.
