Sony Network Communications and Astar Network have jointly launched a Web3 Incubation Program, aimed at nurturing Web3 projects that focus on the utility of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs).
The Web3 Incubation Program will run from mid-March to mid-June and will be powered by Sony Network Communications and Astar. Both companies will review all applications and select 10 to 15 cohorts. Startale Labs, a Singapore-based company founded by Astar Network CEO Sota Watanabe, will collaborate with Sony and Astar to organize the incubation program.
Sony Network Communications is exploring how blockchain technology can solve various problems in their industry, and this Incubation program with Astar Network will enable them to quickly find the relevant Web3 solutions.
Astar Network is a smart contract platform for multichain, while Sony Network Communications is an operating company of the Sony Group.
