STEPN Integrates Apple Pay, Boosting Security and Web3 Adoption

STEPN, a move-to-earn application powered by web3 technology, has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first blockchain gaming app to integrate with Apple Pay.

    Seamless Integration with Apple Pay
STEPN users can now conveniently make purchases of STEPN products and upgrades within the app using Apple Pay, ensuring a secure and streamlined transaction experience. By simply adding their bank card to their Apple Wallet, users can conduct transactions without the need for a separate crypto wallet. This integration simplifies the onboarding process for new customers and enhances the overall user experience.

Moreover, the integration enables STEPN to provide updates to the STEPN marketplace on iOS, enhancing accessibility for users on Apple devices. Additionally, it allows for the implementation of the Badges and Achievement system, making it available to a broader user base.

Embracing a New Audience and Promoting Web3 Adoption
Yawn Rong, Co-founder of Find Satoshi Lab (FSL), emphasized that this integration opens up the STEPN platform to a wider audience, making web3 technology more accessible to the general population. He expressed confidence that this step will lead to a significant increase in the user base, transitioning from thousands of daily active users to millions.

Jerry Huang, Co-founder of Find Satoshi Lab (FSL), shared a similar perspective, highlighting that the integration with Apple Pay enhances the user journey and contributes to the maturity of the web3 space, paving the way for mainstream adoption. Huang attributed much of the company’s success to the release of innovative products that simplify the user onboarding process.

    Expanding Partnerships and Attracting Users
The integration of STEPN with Apple Pay is part of the platform’s ongoing efforts to attract a larger user base and promote sustainability while providing community rewards.

In recent months, STEPN has established partnerships with prominent brands, including Atlético de Madrid and WhaleFin, to launch the Genesis NFT sneakers collection. This collection featured 1,001 soccer boots categorized as Common, Uncommon, and Rare.

Furthermore, in 2022, STEPN collaborated with ASICS and Solana Pay to introduce physical running shoes. These sneakers were made available globally using USDC on the Solana Pay platform.

By integrating Apple Pay and forming strategic partnerships, STEPN continues to make strides in expanding its user base, fostering web3 adoption, and delivering innovative products to its community.
