XLA Unveils Metasites: A Groundbreaking 3D Internet Framework

XLA, a community-driven organization consisting of video game and entertainment industry professionals, is set to unveil “Metasites,” a 3D internet framework that utilizes metaverse, cloud, and AI technologies. The modular framework will be presented by XLA’s Chief Product Officer, Alexey Savchenko, during a panel discussion titled “Emerging Approaches: What the Metaverse can teach us about Social and Narrative Design through Synthetic Media” at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco.

XLA Metasites, which has received $100 million USD in funding, will enable users to create unique content and transform virtual worlds. The presentation will showcase the framework’s high-fidelity graphics, instant cloud-based access through a web browser, OpenAI’s GPT-3.5 integration to power non-active characters and their behavior, the virtual assistant IVEE, and the ability to semantically analyze text and generate 3D scenes in UE5, among other features.

The introduction of XLA Metasites is a significant milestone in the evolution of the internet, signaling a shift toward more immersive, interactive, and personalized online experiences. The framework offers unprecedented levels of customization and creative freedom to users, enabling them to create unique virtual environments and experiences that are not constrained by the limitations of traditional websites or applications.
