Puma, the renowned sportswear manufacturer, has joined forces with 10KFT to introduce a limited edition of 2,000 Slipstream sneakers in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFTs). This collaboration further solidifies Puma’s presence in the Web3 industry, following the success of its Super Puma NFT collection commemorating the company’s 75th anniversary.
Renowned partner Alexander John, associated with Puma, has designed 2,000 pairs of Puma Slipstream sneakers exclusively for Nitro NFT holders and members of the 10KTF community. Each pair of sneakers will be embedded with an NFT chip, bridging the gap between the physical and digital realms. The authenticity of the sneakers will be verified through the accompanying NFTs.
This collaboration builds upon the previous partnership established between Puma, 10KTF, and Yuga Labs last summer. In early February, Puma and 10KTF collaborated to launch the Super Puma initiative. As part of the agreement, the Slipstream sneakers will be iterated into different NFT versions, with Puma and 10KTF dubbing the release as “Grailed PUMA Slipstream.”
The new collection was made available on April 27, granting access to the exclusive collection for Puma Nitro NFT holders and members of the 10KTF community. The members of 10KTF and owners of Puma Nitro NFTs will have the opportunity to acquire the customized version of the Slipstream sneakers. Additionally, a corresponding NFT will be operational on the 10KTF platform to accompany the collection.
