Radisson Hotel Accepts Shiba Inu, Bitcoin, and Ethereum Payments

Radisson Hotel, a prestigious global hotel group, is taking a significant step towards the convergence of the hospitality industry and digital currencies. The Georgian branch of the hotel now accepts payments in shiba inu (SHIB), bitcoin (BTC), and ethereum (ETH). Using Binance Pay, crypto users can now easily settle their hotel bills.

This partnership was made possible through the collaboration between Binance and CityPay, a fast-growing payment service provider that offers various payment processing solutions to businesses of all sizes. CityPay expressed its excitement about the partnership, echoing Binance’s announcement.

The partnership’s significance goes beyond the Radisson Hotel’s walls, as more than 600 merchant stores that use CityPay’s integration in Georgia will also accept shiba inu and other supported digital assets. This widespread adoption lays the groundwork for greater cryptocurrency acceptance throughout the region, potentially inspiring other businesses to jump on the crypto bandwagon. Binance added a Georgian hub to its map in March, indicating further interest in the region.

The integration of digital currencies in the hospitality industry has been a long-standing goal of many crypto enthusiasts. This move by Radisson Hotel could signal a shift towards a more widespread acceptance of digital currencies in the hospitality sector. Cryptocurrency payments offer many advantages, including faster transaction speeds and lower fees.
