Tintin Comic Series Returns to Life with Blockchain NFTs

Blockchain infrastructure provider Crossmint has partnered with Tintinimaginatio to release the first-ever NFT collection of the famous Tintin comic series. The upcoming collection consists of a limited print run of 777 copies and a purely digital NFT limited to 1,777 pieces, all of which are unique and offer perks such as exclusive access to new versions of “The Blue Lotus” book and exclusive passes to the Hergé museum. The NFTs feature “The Blue Lotus” illustration, which previously sold for €2.6 million ($2.8 million) at an auction earlier this year.

The primary aim of Tintinimaginatio is to protect and provide assistance to the works of Hergé, the creator of the beloved Tintin series. The Tintin series was created in 1929 by Hergé, a Belgian cartoonist, who went on to create 23 comic books featuring the character. Tintin’s exciting adventures gained popularity in Europe and were translated into more than 70 languages, inspiring movies, TV shows, and a theme park. Tintin is now widely recognized as a cultural icon and an excellent example of European comics.

The Tintin NFT collection is a unique opportunity for fans to own a piece of Tintin’s heritage. The Tintin franchise has a loyal and devoted following, with numerous collectors eager to obtain a piece of Tintin’s past. The NFTs offer a new way of connecting with the Tintin series and bringing it into the digital era.
